Do not read a share of contract count as a share of euro volume. The official report distinguishes both.

The statistics are compiled from reports by public contracting authorities and distinguish, among other things, works, supplies and services, buyer level, thresholds and other characteristics. Tables may differ by period and variable selection, so every use should state the source, year and method. The report says small and medium-sized enterprises were the most important supplier group for the fourth year in a row; this does not imply a success probability for any individual company.
